Mrs. Wilma Boswell, age 90, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Agape Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Boswell was born January 11, 1934, in Carter County, Tennessee to the late John D. & Nell Proffitt Vandeventer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold Wayne Boswell, two sisters and one brother.

Wilma worked at Walmart in Johnson City until the age of 80 in the jewelry department.

Survivors include two sons and spouses, Jerry & Johnnie Boswell and Jim & Valerie Boswell; grandchildren and spouses, Drs. Johnie & Jerri Anne Rose and Will & Erika-Esch Boswell; great grandchildren, Anna and Colin Rose, Claire and Mabel Boswell; and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2024, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Mr. Michael Stevens officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
