Mrs. Nora Oliva Phillips, age 84, Limestone, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Phillips was born October 13, 1939, in Carter County, Tennessee to the late Homer & Vergia Tolley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Phillips, and two brothers, Lester Tolley and Nelson Tolley.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Phillips loved her flowers, gardening and going to yard sales. She was a vendor for the Wholesale Produce Market at Asheville Farmers Market.
Survivors include five children, Robert Tolley, Kathy Large, Erlene Stamey (Steve), Bo Phillips and Teresa Phillips; one brother, Ronald Tolley; special great granddaughter, Lexie Grace Tolley; and nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 9, 2025, at Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor Steve Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Miss Nora has the same respect and love that I give my mother. She is was kind, loving, and a great sense of humor. The word has lost a beautiful flower, and it won't be the same without her.
