Mr. Robert Glen Whittemore, age 76, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Whittemore was born February 5, 1948, in Elizabethton, Tennessee, to the late Roy & Rosa Ellison Whittemore. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Whittemore.

He was a Sewing Machine Mechanic.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Whitehead (Robert Campbell), Curtis Whittemore (Crystal) and Joni Hatton (Joe); girlfriend, Melissa Dugger, Jonesborough; ex-wife, Kathy Whittemore; brothers, Gary Whittemore (Phyllis) and Brian Whittemore (Karen); and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12, noon, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Dugger Cemetery with Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating.

Glenn was very kind and had a Big Heart! He invited my family to join there July 4th family get together for years. I will the miss the man who talked me threw my Cancer! Now he's A man who gain his wings! He will be missed! Prayers for this family!

Glen was a fine Man and a friend to all that knew him. We knew Glen and his Entire Family for over 30 yrs. They just didn't come any finer than Glen. He will Truly be missed so dearly by all of us...Glen had so friends, and was dearly loved by us all...It broke Our Hearts to Lose him but we know God Must have needed a Very Special Angel to call him home...To All of you, Melissa, Kathy, Joni, Tammy, and Curtis we re here for you if we can do anything at all. We love you all so very very much and We loved Glen too just like he was our family too. He will be so dearly missed by Us All.
