Ms. Sharon Hoxie, age 69, of Greeneville, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Sharon was born on July 5, 1954, to the late Dennis and Madelene Ball Brooks, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
She was a loving Mom and “MawMaw”
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her aunts, Mary Lee Campbell and Elizabeth Stepp.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie (Tony) Childress; son, Travis (Elizabeth) Hoxie; brothers, Kenny Brooks and Dennis Brooks; grandchildren, Christianna Childress, Hunter Childress, Gavin Childress, Kaytie Hoxie, Emma Hoxie, Abby Hoxie and William Hoxie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 24, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service. A Graveside will follow at Mt. Wesley Cemetery.

I love you Mom, so much!! I keep wanting to pick up the phone and talk about the kids, and then realize I can't. Thank you for being the Best Maw Maw, and for giving me and Travis such a wonderful childhood. We love you and miss you so much!! Until we meet again, and that time will be Forever!!
