Title: Aging Years
Lyrics: G.R. Thomas
In my aging years
It seems like 21 to me
And my wilder dreams
I left in Tennessee.
Let your heart grow fonder
When you dream of me
In your wilder dreams
Take me to Tennessee.
When you think of me tomorrow
Let my heart go free
Looking for a wild rose
I left in Tennessee.
Wild roses bloom forever
They will remind you of me
Pink was your color
And blue's left for me.
The mountains and the valleys
Are too lonely for me
The long roads I travel
Far from Tennessee
As the leaves turn to fall
They will remind you of me
Wine for a bleeding heart
Gone from Tennessee
In my aging years
As life is failing me
As my last touch
Someone from Tennessee
