So sorry to hear about Billy. Just seen it in the obituaries. Not too long ago he came by the hardware building and we talked for a while. I will miss him coming by, Wassan and family.

Bill was my grandfather-in-law. When my wife and I began dating and it became serious enough to meet Bill, he and the family were having a cookout at Bill's lake house for July 4th. He was so welcoming to me and was always that way with everyone he met. Throughout the years, he was always willing to lend a hand or any kind of help that we needed. He was always so generous and made sure that all the children in the family had a gift for Christmas. It was kind of amazing to see him work and he certainly loved his family, including ones that joined by way of marriage and that's not something that always happens. You'll truly be missed Bill, and I promise I will try my best to do right by Tessa.

We rented Bill's garage apartment on Seminole Drive many years ago. His wife had just passed. Bill was, by far, the best landlord we ever had. He was caring, fair, and a great neighbor. We ran into him many years later and had the most wonderful conversation with him. It was like seeing an old friend. Our condolences to all who loved him.
