Mr. Jerry T. Reeves, age 53, of Flag Pond, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Monday, May 6, 2024, with his family by his side.

He was born on November 1, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Oscar “Rocky” Jr. and Mary Carnell Reeves.

Jerry had such a good heart and wanted to help people wherever he could. He was most proud of being a volunteer firefighter. Fishing with his boys was one of his favorite ways to spend his time. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Viva Samson and Oscar “Rocky” Leroy Reeves, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Beulah and James Hannis; sister, Fonda Reeves Gilkey; nephew, Ted Selzer; special aunt, Beverly Reeves Price and her husband, John; uncles, Thomas Reeves and Jerry Reeves.

Survivors include his sons, Justin Cordell Reeves and Brayden Austin Reeves; sister, Febora Hady (Jim); brothers, Rocky Reeves (Pam) and James Reeves (Chastity); mother of his children, Kim Wagner; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date.
