Mr. Jeffrey Lyle Carr, age 66, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mr. Carr was born February 3, 1958, in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Elmer & Margaret Campbell Carr. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth “Lib” Carr and his stepmother, Virginia Carr.
Jeffrey was a Machine Operator for Kennametal Industries.
Survivors include a son, Jason Carr; daughter, Jessica Howell; grandchildren, Mystic Whitson, Colten Orsburn, Brysen Orsburn, Kyleigh Tipton, Trenten Carr, Dalten Carr and Chloe Carr; brother, Jerry Carr (Becky); special niece, Autumn Walsh; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff of Four Oaks Health Care Center for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Laws officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Carr Cemetery, Johnson City.
Pallbearers will be Trenten Carr, Dalten Carr, Brysen Orsburn, Colten Orsburn, Charlie Ferguson, and Aiden Dougherty.

Jeff was my cousin, and he was always smiling and had a hug for me! He will be missed for sure. I will be praying for each of you during this difficult time.
Jason - I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He would come into the store I worked at (Roadrunner near Crockett) he was always the nicest person you could meet.
