Ms. Marlene T. Jones, age 74, of Gray, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Lifecare Center of Gray.

Marlene was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, on January 16, 1950, to the late Robert B. Collette and Nancy Lowe Cross.

In addition to her father Robert and mother Nancy, Marlene was preceded in death by her step-father, William Maynard Cross.

She retired from the Department of Agriculture where she was a clerk. Marlene enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her son, Michael S. Tucker; sisters, Myra (Ivan) McGhee and Deborah (Jacob) Dunbar; brother, Robert (Teressa) Collette; four nieces; two nephews; three great-nieces; and four great nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 10, 2024, at Eden Cemetery with Pastor David Reece officiating.
