Mr. John H. Rodifer, Sr., age 86, Telford, passed away, Monday, April 8, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Rodifer was born September 4, 1937, in Unicoi, Tennessee to the late Isaac & Bessie Garland Rodifer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve P. “Jan” Rodifer, son, Edward Rodifer, daughter, Debra Harbach, son, Patrick Hyder, and two brothers, Bill Williams and Brisco Williams.
He was a member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Rodifer was Owner and Operator of Industrial Wood Products.
Survivors include his children, Beverly Weirich (Bill), John Rodifer, Jr. (Linda), Kimberly Hyder (Mike), and Jason Rodifer (Lauralyn); daughter-in-law, Jane Rodifer; brothers, Ralph Williams, and Sam Williams; sister, Sue Crawford; special friend, Tresia Hill; thirteen grandchildren, Richie, Billy, Jill, Jenny, John, Ben, Jessica, Jonathon, Kelly, Joshua, Marcy, Jenny, Allie, Sarah, and Nicholas; and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Beaver officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Peterson’s Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be John H. Rodifer, Jr., Jason Rodifer, Joshua Hyder, Ben Rodifer, Franky Casteel, Jonathon Rodifer, and Nick Rodifer.
