Mrs. Elaine Shell, age 76, of Jonesborough, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Elaine was born on November 13, 1947, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, to Rose McClaire Arndt and the late Clayton Arndt.
She was a member of the Johnson City Church of God.
In addition to her father, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Fred Shell.
She is survived by her mother, Rose Arndt; son, Willis Shell and his wife, Amanda; daughter, Dawn Porter and her husband, Michael Porter; grandchildren, James Shell (Angel) and Vada Shell.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Johnson City Church of God with Rev. Bryant Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Agape and Caris Hospice for their wonderful care of Elaine.
