Mr. Anthony Gerald Rice, age 49, Johnson City, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Rice was born June 28, 1974, in Johnson City, to Nancy Kyker Bibbee, of Telford and the late Gerald Dean Rice. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Stacie Johnson.
He was an Electrician. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and rebuilding trucks.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Gene Rice; a daughter, Mercedes Rice Kruse; stepfather, John Bibbee; grandmother, Sally Kyker; nephew, Christian Johnson, three grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We love you and will miss you, Anthony!
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Robert Blevins and all the family and friends who supported Anthony during his illness.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Inurnment services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Glenwood Cemetery.
