Mrs. Gladys Irene ‘Big Mamma” Casey, age 82, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Casey was born April 17, 1941, in Johnson City, to the late Raliegh & Ruby Haws Ford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Casey, two sons, Bruce Light and Larry Laws, and three brothers, Samuel Ford, Wayne Williams, and Bernie Ray Williams.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Casey enjoyed working puzzles, pencil color books and playing games on her I-Pad.

Survivors include four daughters, Serena Chavez, Dawn Presnell, Paula Malone and Selienna Presnell; one son, Brice Light; three sisters, Lena Marshall, Melva Tucker and Dana Mullins; one brother, Robert Williams; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one special granddaughter Talia Chavez, special grandson, Steven Malone, special great-grandson, Isaiah Roark and many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.

The pallbearers will be Brice Light, Michael Tomason, Ben Dunavent, Steven Malone, Ryan Presnell, Brandon Roark and Isaiah Roark.
