Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Sue Jenkins, age 69, of Jonesborough, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Becky was a homemaker and loved nothing more than being with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her dogs. She was always thinking about others and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Becky was a follower of Christ and a member of Jackson Park Covenant Brethren Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Hatley; both her sons, Randy and Stevie Jenkins.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John Steven Jenkins Sr.; grandchildren, Cody Jenkins and wife Jamie, Landon Jenkins, and Vanessa Jenkins; great-grandchild, Raelynn Jenkins; brothers and sisters, Junior, Jeff, Joey, Angie, and Barbara; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service. A Graveside will follow the service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
