Mrs. Goldie “Pat” Sliger, age 91, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Sliger was born September 21, 1932, in Washington County, to the late Fred & Pearl Crawford Cloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Glen “Tuff” Sliger, son, Timmy Sliger, brother, Herbert Cloyd, and three sisters, Lucille McKee, Delores Cloyd and Vernie Cloyd.
She was a member of New Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Brookshire and Tammy Lowe; grandchildren, Tonia Dye, Brandie Crass, Keri Lowe, Dusty Sliger, Chance Brookshire and Heather Stout; great-grandchildren, Bruce McKee, Samantha McKee, Paige McKee, Colby Brookshire, Brady Crass, Kaysyn Crass, Elli Crass, Wayne Sliger, Siena Brookshire, Josie Hensley, Sawyer Love, Sebastian Love and Shawn Love; special friends, Lori Garvin, Kate Miller and Jane Hensley; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Lester Morelock officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at New Victory Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Sliger, Chance Brookshire, Buddy Crass, Matt Silvers, Bobby France and Brady Crass.
