Donna Lisa Painter, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Donna was born on March 10, 1960, to the late Donnie Humack Painter, Sr. and Delores Nadine Miller, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
She was a 1980 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College and was awarded the Who's Who Among American Students while attending. Donna was a Librarian and retired from the Johnson City Library. She loved the Lady Vols and riding her motorcycle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Lynn Painter.
She is survived by her lifetime partner of 36 years, Patty Painter; brother, Donnie Painter Jr.; special friends, Emogene Painter and Leisa Russum; her precious babies, Percy and Shannon.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 2, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, prior to the service. A Graveside will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens at 12:00, noon.

Donna was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She and Patty have been wonderful neighbors of ours for almost 40 years. Donna has always been ready to lend a helping hand when needed. We will miss her tremendously.
