I worked with Reta at North Electric many many years ago. She was a very nice lady. I really liked her.
Hate to hear of Reta's passing, she was my bible school craft person around 23 years ago. Sweetest ever and my favorite
Vickie, do you believe it has been more than 50 years (54) since I replaced you at Howard Brothers Pharmacy (I think you were 'expecting') and meet Rita, or as I called her "Lovely Rita" after a character in a song of that day "Lovely Rita, meter-maid". She was a shy young girl just out of High School and I loved to tease her to make her blush. She learned to give it back. Partly because of her shy demeanor and kind nature, she was excellent with the public. It was fun working with her (and everyone else at Howard Brothers). I don't think I have seen Rita since then but I am saddened to learn of her passing and will long, and fondly, remember "Lovely Rita".
What a lovely, kind, generous and funny woman Reta was! I am so thankful to have been friends with her when she lovingly gave her time at John Reed nursing home. The residents adored her and looked forward to crafting with her every week. I will see you on the other side dear Reta!❤️
