Mrs. Myrtle Butler Bacon, age 97, Gray, passed from this life on Monday, November 6, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents John William & Myrtle Smith Butler, husband Kyle Duncan Bacon and son Gary Kyle Bacon.

She was a member of Highland Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons Steve Bacon (Treva), Jeff Bacon (Melanie); daughter-in-law Trish Bacon Johnson (Les); grandchildren Andrea Suranofsky (Mat), Ashley Johnson (Jeremy), Chad Bacon (Casey), Whittney Griffith (Stacy), Ashley Barnes (Brad); eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Highland Church of Christ, 485 Highland Church Rd. Johnson City. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Highland Church of Christ with Minister Byron Paddock officiating. A graveside service will follow at Highland Church of Christ Cemetery.
