Aunt Ceola was loved and will be missed. We all have special memories shared with her. I know she was ready to leave this world. The last several years were difficult. Being away meant contact through phone calls. Thanks so much Carolyn and Darv for your care, devotion, and love shown to her. This made it tolerable knowing that she had the two of you looking out for her on a daily basis making sure she had the medical care, food and anything else she may have needed.

I am one of Ceola’s remaining cousins. Remembering the good times, playing with her and her sister Lucy, growing up in the Harmony Community. She always talked about how she enjoyed my Mother’s (her Aunt Gladys) angel food cakes. Sometimes she went to church with me, walking the mile from my house to the church. She loved all of her family very much , remembering important dates for each one. God blessed her with 99 years. She will be missed but never forgotten. Juanita Wheelock Chandler age 97

Aunt Ceola lived a long life. She was loved by her family. As one of her nieces, I wish to express my sincere appreciation and admiration for the care she was given by my cousin and her husband, Carolyn and Darv Reed. They have gone above and beyond what anyone would expect. Aunt Ceola will be missed but we have that blessed hope of seeing her again.
