Aiden West, age 16, Telford, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at his residence.
Aiden was born January 20, 2007, in Washington County, Tennessee to Dale & Elizabeth West, Telford.
Aiden was a student at David Crockett High School and a member of the JROTC. He participated in weekly Dungeon & Dragons games with close friends. He loved computer gaming and reading.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Noah West and both grandfathers, Danny West and Steve Durbin.
In addition to his parents, survivors include three brothers, Malachi West (Taylor), Telford, Isaiah West (Ava), Jonesborough and Owen West, Telford; Nana, Julie West, Telford; Mamaw & Papaw, Dene & Mike Hayden, Nixa, Missouri; special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and D and D friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mike.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Aiden was the best that we had and we played call of Duty and he always win and I was proud of him I've been beating rest in peace Aiden.

There are no words that I, or anyone else can type here that would even begin to take away the hurt you are feeling at this time. Aiden, this is truly a tragic incident to hear especially from a website and not from a phone call. The times on the bus was hilarious with you and Owen and I cannot believe it had to come to an end especially this early, 16 years old is horrible, so many years left to go through many many adventures in your life. Aiden was one of my closest friends. I’ve known him since 8th grade and he was always smart, honest, and kind. It’s a tragedy what happened to him and I hope he may find rest and peace wherever he goes, rest in piece brother.

I am so sorry for your loss, your family is in my prayers. Aiden was one of my cadets last year and words cannot describe how much of a delight he was. he always wanted to make others laugh and he did just that. When I'd pass him going to class he always had something to say. He brought smiles to so many people, including me. God bless you all through these tough times.
