Mr. Daniel Lee Roush, age 58, of Jonesborough, passed away on August 15, 2023.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late John and Vivian Roush.
Daniel retired from the Marine Corps as a crew chief and helicopter mechanic. He loved to build and ride motorcycles, enjoyed a glass of bourbon with a cigar, and was the one-man pit crew for drag races when he wasn’t traveling the world. His love for his children was evident and he loved spending time with them.
Those left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend of eight years, Crystal Gentry; children, Dakota Roush and wife, Ashley, Haley Roush and boyfriend, Cody Hale, Heather Roush Coffey and wife, Brandy, Jessica Windsor and husband, Dakota, Terry Tucker and wife, Miranda; grandchildren, Parker Windsor, Mason Windsor, Reagan Windsor, Khloe Windsor, Peyton Tucker, and Ashlyn Tucker; his siblings, Bobby Roush and wife, Sharon, Judy Roush Aaron, Brenda Lambrano and husband, Glen, Suzie Wentworth and husband, Bruce; several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a celebration of Daniel’s life at a later date.

The words can't describe the pain you are going through right now. Only time might heal us a bit. Dan is with Jesus right now. I, Helen, can feel your pain fully as I, myself, lost my mom 9 months ago. We will pray to God to give us strength and some relief one day. Please, if you need anything, we are always available.
