Mrs. Carolyn Louise Porter, age 86, Sullivan, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Mrs. Porter was born February 14, 1937, in Decatur, IL, and the daughter of the late Russell & Minnie Finch Patterson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Hankal and second husband, James Porter, one sister and four brothers.

Survivors include a son, Rusty Hankal, Johnson City; daughter, Diane Kabbekko, Johnson City; step-son, Brian Porter, Sullivan, IL; step-daughter, Teresa Thrasher (Mark), Sullivan, IL; three grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, four step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery.
