Tom was born in Port Huron, Michigan. He was raised by wonderful foster parents, Stan and Shirley Munroe, whom he treasured. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Florence Carmichael. He enjoyed services at First Christian Church in Johnson City.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and administration of Lakebridge, A Waters Community; the staff and caregivers, especially Whitney, of Visiting Angels; and the directors and staff of Chick Fil A W. Market St. in Johnson City.
