Mr. Thomas Jerry “Shag” Cloyd, age 67, passed away April 7, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Mr. Cloyd was born June 19, 1955, in Washington County, Tennessee and the son of the late Paris and Irene (Tucker) Cloyd. He was preceded in death by his son Travis Wayne Cloyd and one sister, Kathy Grindstaff (R.B.)
Survivors include wife, Vicki Phillips Cloyd; his daughter, Carie Ann “Annie” Cloyd; one very special grand-daughter, Breanna Lynn Cloyd and fiancé Walen Whitson, whom he though of as one of his own; a very special grandson, Elijah Wayne Cloyd; brother, Robert (Bill) Cloyd; sister, Penny Bennett (Roger); a very special mother-in-law; Mary White; several nieces and nephews.
