I am the great-granddaughter of Anna Archer Eakin, the granddaughter of Marguerite Eakin Smith Lindsay, and the daughter of Ed and Gerry Smith. Ann was a true and lovely lady. She and her family have lovingly cared for the Archer Family Cemetery across the street from Ann’s charming farmhouse. She will be greatly missed. May the Lord give you comfort and peace in your precious memories.

My mother Pauline Woodby and Ann were dear friends. They met through the Jonesborough Senior Center many years ago, and became fast friends. They took many trips together, and shared lots meals and birthday celebrations together through the center. Mom always enjoyed driving down and visiting Ann in her home. They would spend hours chatting away about flowers, their children, and all the future trips they were planned to take. I was going through some of mom's old photographs recently, and found many of them that had Ann in them. Your mother was such a precious soul, and a wonderful friend to our mom. I pray the Lord will bring your family peace and comfort during your time of sorrow. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

It was my honor to be her caregiver and her friend we had a lot of good times sitting on the porch talking about when we were growing up and I will truly miss her.
