Mr. William Edward Entrekin II, age 50, was born in 1972 on May 1st; went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Ed grew up in Blountville and lived in Gray. He enjoyed spending time with his family, baseball and especially watching his kinds play sports. Ed received a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering from East Tennessee State University.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie Entrekin; daughter, Faith; son, Ethan; mother, Betsy Geiger; brother and wife, Andy Entrekin and Camie and their children, Brittany Thigpen and Austin Gray; aunts, Mary Geiger and Susan Geiger Herron.
Ed is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Entrekin; uncle Bill Geiger.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Albrecht officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations to be made to Crossroads Christian Church.
Ed helped me make my first sale in Real Estate. Such a kind, patient individual and very knowledgeable. I just recently heard of his passing and I pray God will make a way for the family to go on and be comforted by the cherished memories. Thank you Ed, for your support. See you on the other side.
As a close friend of Ed and working alongside him for the Doughboys and the River Riders, I will definitely miss the laughs that he and I shared. He was a great man of God and I honestly can't explain what I was going through when I heard the news of his passing. He was a great individual and definitely loved his family and I can't thank him enough now for his prayers during our friendship. Now, I pass on my prayers to his family and loved ones during this time.

We're in a state of shock, it was just Christmas that Ed was telling Kyla and Breana about how fun college (especially Chemistry) was for him and for them to not take it for granted and enjoy the experience..!! Betsy, Andy and family, Janice and I are so very sad for your loss. The last time we saw Eddy, he shared his hope in Christ and how the Lord had changed him. Our hope is that we will see him in Heaven. Janice and I would love to come to the funeral, but we have a conflict that we cannot. We will be praying for all of you during this trying time.

Ed was one of the nicest men I know! I will never forget our “Easter Egg Hunts” while walking laps before Doughboy games. We would sit and talk for an hour or so after games about my problems, or his love of his family. As I announced the game tonight, I could feel Ed in the park. After the game, I saw something laying against the curb…a foul ball. Ed sent me one last Easter Egg! I will see you in Paradise Bro!
