Mr. Lester Foster, age 81, of Limestone, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

He was born on January 1, 1942, to the late Shelby and Luie Watts Foster.

Lester proudly served his country in the US Army. He loved his grandsons, farming, gardening and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Jerry Moore, Harold, Marlin and Kenneth Gray; sister-in-law, Marilyn Narron.

Survivors include wife, Sue Foster; son, Daniel Foster (Kim) of Limestone; grandchildren, Chase Foster (Allison) of Telford and Logan Foster of Limestone; brothers, Earmen Foster (Wanda) of Chuckey and Brison Foster (Kate) of Chuckey; sister, Jean Moore of Jonesborough; special sister-in-law, Vivian Baker (Doug) of Johnson City; sister-in-law, Wanda Stell of Beaumont, TX; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 7 PM, on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Murray officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, prior to the service. Graveside Service will be at 4:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2023 at Philadelphia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews and family.
