Mr. Charles Eugene “Gene” Hensley, age 55, of Chuckey, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Gene was born on September 2, 1967, to the late Charles Eugene Hensley, Sr. and Blanche Tweed.

He attended Morning Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Sharon Hensley; children, Brittney Mills (Alex), Anthony Hensley (Shannon), Josh Brown (Tasha) and Brandon Hensley; brothers, James Hensley (Muriel), Frank Hensley, Dale Goforth (Janice) and Robert Goforth; sisters, Tina Solesby and Brenda Crook; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Morning Star Cemetery with Preacher Tony Darnell and Pastor Brian Brown officiating.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
