Mr. Terry Joe Collier, age 74, Kingsport, left his earthly body Saturday, August 27, 2022, at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.

Mr. Collier was born January 28, 1948, in Roanoke, VA and the son of the late Edgar & Vada Salmons Collier. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Neal Collier and a granddaughter, Stephanie Fineout.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Kingsport.

Mr. Collier served in United States Army as a Paratrooper during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He worked in Automobile sales for thirty years. He was a member of the VFW.

Survivors include the love of his life, Maudie Collier; two sons, George Fineout (Georgia) and Ronald Fineout (Cynthia); daughter, Mary Hines; one brother; grandchildren, Jordan Fineout, Austin Fineout, Michael Fineout, R.J. Fineout, Lynsey Collins, Kelsi Hines, Keilee Fineout and Blake Ball; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Morlock officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday prior to the service.

Interments services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, September 2, 2022 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
