Cecilia Jean Blevins Pennington

Cecilia Jean Blevins Pennington of Mt. City, TN passed away August 16th after a long battle from the effects of Colon cancer. Jean was 79 years old.
Born in Baltimore, MD in 1943 while her father Cecil was stationed there in the Army. When WW2 broke out the family moved back to Konnarock, VA where her parents Cecil and Hazel Pennington were born and lived there the rest of their lives. Jean graduated from Damascus High School in 1960.
She is survived by her brothers, Randell Pennington his wife Susan and their two sons Austin and Aaron and Ronnie Pennington his wife Linda and their son Bryan. She is also survived by her partner Tonya with whom she spent the last 30 happy years.
Jean loved her dogs, of which through her life there were many. She was also a true gardener and landscape artist.
Rest in peace Jean you deserve it.
