Mr. Lonnie Lee Human, age 65, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Human was born in Washington County, Tennessee, and the son of the late Orville & Caroline Goodman Human. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Wilbur Goodman, sister, Mary Sullivan and a brother, Leroy Human.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly Human, Jonesborough; son, Lonnie Human, Jr.; stepdaughters, Angel Campbell, Crystal Harrison and Randi Hatley; sons-in-law, David Campbell, Donnie Hatley and Charlie Harrison; grandchildren, Dominic Human, Ethan Human, Evan Human and Sebastian Human, Devon Hatley, Tayah Harrison and Ava Harrison; sister, Viva Carver; brothers, Kenny Human and John Human; several nephews and nieces; best friends, Gene and Sue McMahon.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, August 15, 2022, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. David Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Monday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Center, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I was one of Lonnie's teachers many years ago at King Springs Elementary School.
I remember that he was a very sweet child as was his sister, Mary. I am saddened to learn of their passing.
