Mr. Daniel W. Blankenship, age 81, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.

Mr. Blankenship was born in Washington County, TN and the son of the late Roscoe & Margaret South Blankenship. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ellen Presnell, Alice Littleton and Bernice Ledford and a brother, Paul Blankenship.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a sister, Mabel Blankenship Pennington (John), Johnson City; a brother, James Blankenship, Greeneville; brother-in-law, Russell Ledford; several nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2022, at Washington County Memory Gardens. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm Friday prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
