Mrs. Susan Runion Roberts, age 76, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at her residence.
Mrs. Roberts was born April 10, 1946, in Mitchell County, NC and the daughter of the late Luke B. & Pansy Higgins Runion Barbee.
She was a member of Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church and worked with the church youth group.
Mrs. Roberts worked for Texas Instruments.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Roberts, Jonesborough; one son, Tim Roberts, Jonesborough; one daughter, Cynthia Roberts, Jonesborough; one grandson, Jeffery Allen Roberts; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ashley and Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2022, at Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Brown officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Bakersville Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Webb, Tim Roberts, Jeffery Roberts, Terry Lewis, Kenneth Lee Silvers, Ryan Lewis and Matthew McLain.
