Mr. Johnnie Anderson, age 82, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson was born May 28, 1940, in Washington County, TN and the son of the late Joseph Grant “J.G.” & Anna Ruth Bacon Anderson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Douglas Anderson.
He was a member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church.
Mr. Anderson was a Drafter Operator with Eastman Chemical Company and a farmer. He enjoyed Jigsaw Puzzles.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Anderson, Jonesborough; three sons, Robby Anderson, Jamey Anderson (Beth) and Tony Anderson, all of Jonesborough; four grandchildren, William Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Maggie Krug (Evan) and Chloe Anderson; a host of nephews and nieces; and special friends, Ed & Joy Hawkins, Marion, NC.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Jackie Miller and the nurses and staff of 2200 wing of Johnson City Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Wesley Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.
