Mr. Jason ‘Jay” Howard, age 44, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Howard was born April 16, 1978, in Ashland, KY and the son of Elizabeth Griffeth, Johnson City and the late Edwin Griffeth.

He had a fun-loving outgoing personality, with a kind heart that always helped anyone in need. He never met a stranger and had the ability to make people laugh and feel at ease. He loved the outdoors and especially loved to go fishing with his brother. He was mechanically inclined and was happy when working on projects. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and everyone who knew him.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a brother, Eric Howard; daughter, Trinity Howard; several grandchildren; aunts, and uncles, Mosetta Slusher (Darrell), John Cordle (Juanita), and Joe Cordle.

The family will receive friends 12, Noon-3:00 PM, Friday, May 20, 2022, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
