Mrs. Beverly Deane Edwards, age 69, Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Edwards was born March 9, 1952, at Swingle Hospital in Johnson City, the daughter of the late Billy Dean Langston & Sophia Easterling Langston Cook Tuttle. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rickey Lynn Langston.
She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Gordon M. Edwards, Jonesborough; son, Ryan Edward McDuffie (Tara) Villa Rica, GA; brother, William D. “Bill” Langston, Florida; granddaughter, Addison McDuffie; grandson, Jacob McDuffie; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Per Beverly’s request, there will be no formal services.
To Gordon and family I am so sorry for your loss. We have been and are praying for you as you grieve, may God bless all of you. Amen
I am deeply saddened to lose one of my best friends...my heart is broken...I will miss our hour long phone calls and your wonderful laughter..we went through a lot together growing up during school then living together for awhile.. I'll always remember the military ball we went to on a double date and how beautiful a bridesmaid you were at my wedding..
