I remember John as an officer and a gentlema. I knew John primarily through connections with his wife Emily, and through our church worship and musical activities at First Presbyterian, Casa Grande, Arizona. John was always kind and had a great sense of humor. I also remember his love of animals, especially their pet dog. I am sure he will be sorely missed by family and friends. May the Holy Spirit comfort all of those who cared for him.

I had the privilege of working with John at Hexcel in Casa Grande for many years. He was a gentlemen and very skilled at his job. He made the day better when I got to work with him. I admired his military service and the way he treated others. I was blessed to know him. May you remember the happy days with him when the grief weighs on you in the days ahead.

Sad loss, we first met in 1955 while stationed for 18 months at Lajes AFB in the Azores. He was a good friend, many years later we reconnected with Tony Sabia and Wilbert Kemp and we kept Intouch. John always had a good heart and was a gentle human being. Will miss John but not the memories.
