My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in paradise my friend. Until we meet again.
Dear Dennis, I was blessed to have known you and nuture a friendship with you in such a way that I can call you brother. When you left for Tennessee you took a part of my life with you due to the fact that I couldn't enjoy more time with you. I wish that there was a way to go back and spend more of those times we had laughing and joking together. I am missing you now as I recall all the times that we had spoken to each other on a personal, heart to heart kind of way. I am going to miss you tremendously but I will also remember you with a love that I could have for a brother because that is what you were to me, a brother. We will see each other, so in the meantime spend as much time with your mother and father and enjoy your time with them alongside our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

I had the pleasure of not only having Dennis as a friend but also as my boss. He saw in me a potential that eluded most but also made me believe in myself. He once said to me that people can be taught to do the jobs but their attitude was something he could not and that was the most important aspect of a person. Because of what he saw in people he was able to bring out their best. It means a lot to me that he saw the positive that I had within me and that he not only encouraged me to do my best but that also allowed me to flourish. This was all made possible under his mentorship. Dennis was just as dear to me as a friend as he was as a boss. He always made the extra effort to make me feel at home and cared greatly about me and my family. Our family is going to miss him dearly but we will cherish the memories we shared with a great fondness. May God welcome you home with open arms and comfort those that you left behind.
