Mr. Gary “Frank” Pleasant, 75, of Gray, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 9, 2021. The son of the late Barnette & Rosie Pleasant, Gary was born in Limestone on October 27, 1945.

Gary loved spending time with his grandsons. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking care of his cows, and trivia. He was able to fix anything and he certainly knew how to get conversations going by bringing up politics.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, son, Gary L. Pleasant, daughters, Cindy Pleasant and Kellie Hall (Phil), grandchildren, Parker & Noah Hall, sisters, Carolyn Legg, Mary Carter and June Bales, nieces and nephews, a special nephew, Mark Legg, and special friends, Gale & Seth Clement.

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by infant daughter, Kimberly, sisters, Wanda Carter and Kaye Roberts, brother, Wayne Pleasant, and special dog, “Hammy” who he loved dearly.

A celebration of life and graveside service will be held at Oakland Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
