Prayers for you and family during this time. It is so sad to hear of Martha’s passing. I will always remember her sweet loving smile. Martha has been a special friend since we were little girls. I have so many precious memories as little girls, teenagers, and adults. Wish i could have attended her services today but was unable to be there.

Martha was a very important part of our extended family. My children and I have wonderful memories of her warmth and humor at summer-time Swift Family Reunions at Beech Creek, NC where many of our ancestors are buried. I also have many good memories of bringing my mother (Frances Swift McDaniel) to Christmas Eve Family Gatherings at Ray and Martha's home in Telford. She was a positive influence in all our lives and will be greatly missed. Janet McDaniel and daughter Rebecca (Becky) McLaughlin, and son Matthew Alley

Dear Don, I am Ray's sister, Frances's, daughter and your sister, Martha, was almost a sister to me after she and Ray married. They married only a few months before Darrel and I married, and she was only 5 yrs. older than we were, so we bonded immediately. We treasure her many years of organizing our Swift reunions in Telford and Beech Creek NC. We are so happy that we were blessed with having her as our Aunt and friend. Dear Darrel and Kathy - Thank you so much for keeping us updated on this last hospital experience. We were sending many prayers up for her recovery, but we know that God's will is the best in the long run. We know that she has been a treasured neighbor and aunt to you, too, and we send prayers for comfort and peace as you say good by to her. Treasure your memories! So sorry that we are not able to make to long trip down for her burial. We are making a donation to her church for the cemetery maintenance. Blessings to you all and Family
