Mr. Vern Gene Fenner, age 56, Gray, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Fenner was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania and the son of the late Eugene & Betty Jean Snyder Fenner. He was also preceded in death by a step-son, Clay Webb and a brother, Roy Fenner.
He was a dedicated and compassionate Nurse at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City. He was also an EMT for Carter County for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Fenner, Gray; daughter, Ashley Schism; step-sons, Adam Webb and Josh Webb; and a sister, Tammy Hicks.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Rest in peace my dear friend. I will never forget how you helped me so much in my first job as a nurse. You were not only my mentor but a great friend to me . It was my privilege to call u my friend. God speed, till we meet again.
