Mrs. Geraldine Culbert, age 84, Limestone, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her home
Mrs. Culbert was born in Bluff City and the daughter of the late Fredrick Richards & Helen Taylor Johnson.
She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Gerry was the cherished wife to Jack for 60 years and the precious “Mom” to 5 special children!
Survivors include her husband, Houston Jack Culbert, Sr.; children, Michael Bader (Candy), Sandy Ottinger (Randy), Houston J. Culbert, Jr. (Sandra), Elizabeth Jill Culbert (Donnie), and Karen Overstreet (Steve); grandchildren, Robert Culbert, Jeffery Culbert, David Cline, Nick Cline, Chris Ricker, Megan Overstreet and Anthony Overstreet; great-grandchildren, Abbigale Waller, Hayden Ricker, Mylah Ricker, Hailey Culbert, Brianna Culbert and Taisha Overstreet; sister, Gail Frye (Eddie); step-mother, Barbara Hughett; sister-in-law, Faye Hayes; brother-in-law, Larry Culbert (Sue); and several special nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at New Salem Cemetery with Pastor Craig Ponder and Rev. Mike Bader (son) officiating.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
We would like to thank everyone for your, kind words, thoughts, and prayers. We greatly appreciate all of the love, and support we have been given. Thank you to everyone that sent flowers, and donations toward funeral costs.

So sorry i couldn"t be at the funeral, but due to my health the doctor said not to. But i loved Geri and will really miss her. So glad i got to see her and Jack a few months back. I will miss talking to her on the phone also .All of the family is in my prayers, i love everyone of you. God Bless
