Mr. Paul Archer, age 90, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Archer was born in Imogene, Iowa but moved to Washington County as a child. He was the son of the late Clyde & Elizabeth Archer. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Lula Bell Ferguson Archer; brothers, G.B. and Glen Archer and sisters, Christine, Ruth and Mildred Archer.
He proudly served in the US Air Force and retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co.
Mr. Archer was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesborough, where he served in the role of Deacon & Treasurer for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Archer (Suzanne) and Randy Archer; two daughters, Linda Peters (Lynn) and Robin Moore (Michael); special sister-in-law, Mary Kate Nelson; sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Peggy Cochran; grandchildren, Lynae Colbaugh (Nick), Logan Archer, Cody Moore (Hannah), and Bradley Moore (Alyssa); great-granddaughter, Ellie Bell Colbaugh; and baby Moore coming June 2021.
The family will receive friends and family at the home of daughter, Robin (345 Stockyard Rd. Telford) Wednesday, October 21st between the hours of 2:00-7:00 pm.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Rev. Nick Colbaugh officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and family friends.
