Mr. John Oliver Sharp, age 84, Johnson City, TN passed away at his residence with his family by his side.

Mr. Sharp was a native of Jefferson City, TN and the son of the late Earnest and Nina Stallings Sharp.

He was a retired Chemist. He loved working with wood and enjoyed wood working at the Kingsport Senior Center Wood Shop.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Suzanne Free Sharp; a son Jonathan Sharp; grandchildren Joel Anthony Casey and wife Payton of Blountville, TN, Caitlin Holyfield and husband Mark of Honolulu, HI; mother-in-law in Gate City, VA, brother and sister-in-law in Kingsport, TN and many family members in Jefferson City, TN and Memphis, TN.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Sharp to the Kingsport Senior Center Wood Shop, 1200 E Center St., Kingsport, TN 37660
