Jim was one of the most likeable people I have ever known. We cut firewood together, along with Ken Sells, for several years. He always had a story to tell, some of which might have been true. I know he will be in many other's thoughts as well for years come. He was a very special person.l?

My dad, Ronnie Minga, and Jim were close friends. I always remember Jim as a very good and kind man, who was a true friend, and who always wore a smile and always had a joke and a bag full of fresh tomatoes to share. My condolences to his family and friends. God bless you.

Just found out that my best friend for over 35 years passed away this past Sat. night. Besides being my best friend, he was also my neighbor. He was 81 and we spent countless hours together over the years. His name is James D. Good. Jim was a rare kind of man, he never talked badly about anyone. He was kind hearted and he spent many days helping another friend at the farmers market. Jim used to drop off tomatoes, apples and other items on my front porch when I could not get to the market. He would just leave them in a bag and quietly drive back home. And he loved my little dog Compo so much, and Compo loved him. Compo would climb on his lap and lick him, and he knew the sound of Jim's old truck when it drove by the house. And he would run around barking hoping Jim would stop for a visit. Jim would see Compo when he was outside in our yard, and he would pull over next to our fence, and talk to Compo who was jumping for joy just to see him. I apologize for the long post, but Jim's death came so suddenly and was a terrible shock to me. RIP Jim, you are finally back with your loving wife Becky who went before you several years ago.
