Mr. Lonnie Eugene Pendleton, 66, Jonesborough, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Mr. Pendleton was a native of Bedford, Virginia. He was the son of the late Robert and Myrtle L. Gibson.
Mr. Pendleton was a member of Cherokee Mountain Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed racing Shetland Ponies.
Survivors include wife, Margie Pendleton, 3 sons, Timothy (Mary) Mills, Joseph Pendleton, Joshua (Laci) Pendleton, daughter Jennifer (Dennis) Draper, sister Patricia Miller, brother Jimmy Pendleton, 8 grandchildren, William, Tiffany, Miranda and Malachi Mills, Summer and Autumn Draper, Abigail and Mason Pendleton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020, from 5 to 7pm at Cherokee Mountain Baptist Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 2pm at Cherokee Mountain Baptist Church, with a graveside service to follow at Cherokee Mountain Cemetery.
