Mr. Virgil Thomas “Tommy” Terry, age 76, Telford, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Terry was born in Campbell County, Tennessee and the son of the late Abraham & Mossie Marlow Terry.
Survivors include his wife, Izella Terry, Telford; daughter, Paulette Rains (Roger), Telford; grandchildren, Roger Rains, II and Brandon Rains; sisters, Bonnie Terry, Roses Creek, TN, Marie Christian, Jellico, TN and Ruby Bowers, Arkansas; one brother, Lester Terry, Illinois; special cat “Princess” and several extended relatives and friends.
Private services will be conducted at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Izella and Paulette I am so sorry for your loss. May God wrap his loving arms around your entire family during this most difficult time. If either of you need anything, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
Tommy wasn’t just a cousin, a family friend and a loved one; he was colorful man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by many!
Izella, I wish I could make it today but I’m having to work and couldn’t get anyone to switch out with me.
