Mr. Kenneth Glass, age 72, Gray, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Glass was born in Johnson City and the son of the late Charles Elmer & Virginia Matherly Glass. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Glass.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Eastman after 41 years. He loved to hunt, play golf and his dogs.
He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Fran Hunt Glass; son, Kenneth “Kenny” Walter Glass, II; grandsons,, Brazen and Avram Glass; brothers and sisters, Charles “Shorty” Glass (Jackie), Gary Glass (Susan), Mike Glass (Nancy), Carolyn Hodge, Ruth Ann Willis (Johnny) and Betty Widner (Sam); uncle, Lowell Sluss; and several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Glass will lie-in-state at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, Friday May 1, 2020 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Friends may pay their respects at this time.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Hunt Cemetery with Brother Joe Beaver officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Glass, Jason Hall, Rusty Sells, Jerry Collins, Rockie Collins and Keith Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles “Shorty” Glass, Mike Glass and Gary Glass.
