Gene Autrey Glover, age 82, a lifelong resident of Washington County, passed away Saturday morning, April 25, 2020 at his resident in Johnson City.
He is survived by his son, Jason Glover; sister, Sharron Glover Warren, Covington, GA; and two brothers, Clyde Glover and Kenneth Glover, both of Johnson City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Albert and Blanche Mosier Glover; and several brothers and sisters.
Prior to Gene becoming unable to work he was a self-employed mechanic, and a very good one.
Gene’s favorite pastime was “discussing” the Bible. He never failed to try to convert you to his belief. Gene was of the Pentecostal faith.
Due to the restrictions of the Coronavirus, his pastor, Calvin Grimm, will conduct a private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery.
