Mrs. Judy H. Foster, age 78, Limestone, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Foster was born in Washington County, daughter of the late Ernest and Christine Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mae Hylton (Ben); brothers, Bill Hughes and Gene Hughes, and brother-in-law, Richard Humphries.
Mrs. Foster was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Foster was a housewife and also had a ceramic business where she made many friends. She also enjoyed feeding the homeless.
The family wishes to thank the healthcare providers at Johnson City Medical Center for their excellent and compassionate care.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Carroll Foster; daughter, Stephenie Henley (Brian); sisters, Linda Henley (Lanny), Elva Sammons, Sue Walker (Johnny), Sandy Pryor (Robert), and Shelia Humphries; brother, Dickie Hughes; sisters-in-laws, Glenna Hughes and Doris Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private graveside at Asbury Cemetery.

I was saddened to hear the news about Judy. I met her through Carolyn Tomko and was actively involved in ceramics. Judy taught me so much and a friendship was formed. I enjoyed our weekly sessions. She will be missed. Please extend our condolences to Carroll, Stephenie, and the rest of the family.
